12-hr yin yoga

Yin yoga is a meditative, floor-based practice that nourishes the body’s connective tissues and calms the nervous system. In these immersive trainings, you'll explore the philosophy, benefits, and structure of Yin yoga while learning to teach with intention and presence. Whether you're deepening your personal practice or learning to guide others, you'll uncover how to embody stillness and inspire it in those around you.

This training is eligible for continued education credits through Yoga Alliance.

  • Sunday, Sept 14th, 12-6pm

    Yin is a quiet, meditative yoga practice that nourishes the connective tissues in the body with long held, floor based poses, supported by yoga props like bolsters, blocks and blankets. Benefits of this practice include: increased joint mobility and flexibility, regulation of the nervous system, present moment awareness and a deeper connection with self.

    This is a comprehensive training that will deepen your understanding of the principles of yin yoga. Students will immerse themselves in the practice of yin yoga, learning the philosophy and history behind the practice, the benefits of yin yoga and how to successfully teach and structure their own yin yoga class.

  • Sunday, Sept 21st, 12-6pm

    This training is all about how to live and find more stillness in your energy body as you explore Yin. As a teacher you will create sequences and how to work with injury and keep the mind present during a yin practice. Not only will you explore how you can embodi more yin but encourage your students, clients, and friends as well.

    Recommend taking Understanding Yin as a prerequisite.
