Around 2007 I moved to NYC and began training in a Korean style of Yoga that focused on tapping into the body and mind's potential through the understanding of energy, psychosomatic therapy, and breath work. This humble, challenging practice was the catalyst in changing the trajectory of my life. Since, life has been a constant quest of understanding human development, healing, and reprogramming. Meditation, conscious movement, somatic, sound, and breathwork are amongst the nurturing tools I use to empower anyone I work with. My work weaves a web of introspection, awareness, strength and stability.

Hi! I’m Danielle Stutzman. I am a wife and mother to 3 amazing children(2 grown boys and a 4 yr old daughter) and step mother to another daughter that’s 10. Along with my yoga teaching, my husband and I own and operate 21 Hammers Construction in Franklin, Ohio. I enjoy spending time with my family working and playing on our property, bike riding and hanging out around the camp fire.

I found yoga at the age of 20 while in college the first time. Throughout the next 25 years, my practice ebbed and flowed, returning to it more consistently in my late 30s. I also turned to yoga when becoming pregnant with our daughter at 41. After having a high risk pregnancy due to our daughter having Down Syndrome and having a baby later in life, ai realized my body needed slower movement and gentler ways of being active, having come from intense training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and women’s roller derby. Yoga was my saving grace in repair and healing postpartum.

After our daughter was diagnosed with cancer at age 2 and a year after she completed chemotherapy treatment, I knew it was time for YTT(Yoga Teacher Training). I had always found healing on the mat anytime I practiced and it was my next step. Not intending to teach once YTT was completed, I received offers to teach and decided that was the path for me.

My slow moving classes are designed to bring connection between mind and body so that you may find your home within. Classes are balanced with breath work and meditation to provide a well rounded experience for all levels of yoga practitioners.

    ERYT200

My journey with yoga began in 2012 out of a desire to share yoga with the soccer athletes I coached, as well as an intention of enhancing my own flexibility and mobility as a runner. I received my teaching certification through Simply Power Yoga in Loveland, Ohio in 2013 and loved the combination of stretch, strength and release I found in hot yoga classes. Since then my practice and my teaching have evolved with a focus on dynamic mobility and breath-focused release. My classes are energetic and relaxed with a focus on coming as you are, not taking yourself too seriously and cultivating a sense of gratitude for the way in which your body moves today. When I’m not teaching yoga you can find me running with friends, enjoying my family, or teaching American History at Clinton- Massie Middle School.
